“Centre for Environmental Development” (CED), Maganwadi, Wardha has worked for Technology Generation, Technology Demonstration and Technology Transfer in four different states namely Maharashtra, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
CED transferred technologies related to Agriculture (Organic Farming; Vermi Composting; Liquid Microbial Fertilisers; Biodynamic Preparations etc.), Forestry (Ecosystems - Rivers, Grassland & Plantation; Joint Forest Management or JFM; Non Timber Forests Produce or NTFP), Watershed Management (Cover Management), Biodiversity (Introducing Novel Plant Species in to Society; Creating interest amongst youth in the subject of Insects; Butterflies; Reptiles; Birds; Herbivore and Carnivore Animals);
Sanitation (Human & Domestic waste Management; Animal waste Management; Agro Waste Management; Grey Water Management) and Habitation (Eco Friendly Housing). In the field of Education CED conducted number of training programs and trained 250 youths in the financial year 2023 - 2024. In the field of Literature CED promotes publication of books related to Poems;
Stories; Novels; Articles; Biographies; Technologies etc.
A book of short stories entitled “Mrug Jal” which is authored by Dr. Soham Pandya will be Published during “Sahitya Sammelan” to be held during 2024 - 2025 for promoting literature.
